Michael and Pedro: Cool on getting things working. Pedro: The nice part about getting into the programming is you can go fiddle with the look and feel of the device. If you put all the Spanish support in a separate text file, could it be added to the overall code offering? will -----Original Message----- From: wxsig-bounces at tapr.org [mailto:wxsig-bounces at tapr.org] On Behalf Of Michael Dzado Sent: Thursday, November 18, 2010 3:20 PM To: 'TAPR Weather Station SIG Mailing List' Subject: Re: [wxsig] Family Codes and ds2438 Hi Pedro Thanks for the information. Humidity: I have build my own sensor with a ds2438's clone (buyed from ebay) - if you can get an original Dallas 2438 would be better, Humidity sensor is is a HIH-4000-004, buyed from mouser, building is straightforward, just the ds2438, Humidity sensor, a 7805 voltage regulator, and a resistor. Hard part is to change code to adquire data from the clone, but it is solved and now very simple. For now it works, now I have to tune it and adjust, when it is ok, I will make a small pcb, an outdoor shield, etc. Best regards. Pedro.
