John, Thanks for the suggestion. I have seen that device (which looks fantastic), but it lacks the radio for transmitting. I asked Byon and he mentioned something like what I wanted was "int the works" but there's no release date. So, I'm just checking around as I need to get something up and running before winter ice and snow hits. I'd actually prefer Byon's products as I know they work well, but if there's something else more readily available I'd like to read up on that and compare the devices. :-) --- Tyrel On 2011-09-29, at 20:28, John C Borkowski III wrote: > Have you looked at Byonics WXtrak? > >> -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Is there is some kind of plan to make a new APRS weather station board or not? I'm looking to put up several stations for public service and I'd like to know if there's already something existing or in the works that would tie together the formatting of the weather station data, creating and sending the APRS packet, and the integrated radio to transmit. I know such trackers exist that periodically send GPS data. So, has anyone successfully adapted one of those or created something new for the purpose I stated? >> Thanks in advance! >> >> ?------ >> tyrel >> >> _______________________________________________ >> wxsig mailing list >> wxsig at tapr.org >> https://www.tapr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/wxsig
