APRSa4 Setup Instructions

APRSa4 Setup Instructions:

Select the Setup menu choice
Enter your callsign
Enter registration number, unless you are demoing the software
Enter latitude and longitude in DD.DDDDD format, longitude is negative in the US
Enter a status text (Beacon) and position text. Set transmit time for both
Set your unproto path
Set your Alias
Pick your TNC initialization file
Set your various timings
Pick your serial port, baud rate, TNC type, etc, and enable transmit
Pick your station symbol
Set up your maps, map options and refresh rate, and click on the button for the map you choose to generate
