Refer to the layout diagram for clarification of parts placement. All references to up, down, left, and right assume that you are looking at the PCB with the silkscreen TAPR logo at the lower right-hand side of the board. All components are mounted on the top of the PC board.

Ferrite beads have a cylindrical shape with a hole through the middle. String a clipped lead from a capacitor (previous step) though the ferrite bead. Position the ferrite bead over the silkscreen outline and insert the leads into the solder holes. The round side of the bead should rest flat against the top of the circuit board. Solder the leads and clip them flush on the bottom of the board.
